Introduction
A computer is made up of many parts. Each part has a special job. When all the parts work together, the computer helps us do many things.
Main Parts of a Computer
- Monitor: Looks like a TV. It shows pictures, words, and videos.
- CPU (Central Processing Unit): The brain of the computer. It does all the thinking and work.
- Keyboard: Has many keys. We use it to type letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Mouse: A small device that helps us point, click, and select things on the screen.

- Speakers: Make sound and play music.
- Printer: Prints pictures and words on paper.
- Scanner: Copies pictures or words from paper into the computer.
- Webcam: Takes photos and videos.
How Do These Parts Work Together?
- We type on the keyboard and use the mouse to give instructions.
