Introduction
Adjectives help us describe nouns, making our sentences more interesting. Conjunctions are words that join two words or sentences together. Letβs learn how to use both!
Adjectives
Adjectives are describing words. They tell us more about a person, place, animal, or thing.

Using Adjectives in Sentences

- She wore a beautiful dress.

Conjunctions
Conjunctions are joining words. They connect words, phrases, or sentences. Common conjunctions are and, but, or, because, and so.
- and β joins similar ideas (I like apples and oranges.)
- but β shows difference (She is small but strong.)
- or β gives a choice (Do you want tea or coffee?)
- because β gives a reason (He is happy because he won.)
- so β shows result (It was raining, so we stayed inside.)
