Introduction

MS PowerPoint is a software used to create presentations. Presentations are a way to show information using slides, pictures, text, and animations. PowerPoint is widely used in schools, offices, and for personal projects.

Starting MS PowerPoint

• Click on the PowerPoint icon to open the program.
• Choose Blank Presentation or select a template.

Working with Slides

• A presentation is made up of slides.
• To add a new slide, click New Slide on the Home tab.
• You can choose different layouts for each slide.

Adding Text and Images

• Click inside a text box to type your content.
• To insert an image, go to Insert > Pictures and select an image from your computer.
• You can resize and move images and text boxes.

Saving and Presenting

• Click File > Save to save your work.
• To present, click Slide Show and choose From Beginning.
• Use arrow keys or mouse to move between slides.
