Starting MS PowerPoint
- Click on the PowerPoint icon on your computer or search for "PowerPoint" in the Start menu.
- Choose "Blank Presentation" or select a template to start.
Parts of the PowerPoint Window
- Title Bar: Shows the name of your presentation.
- Ribbon: Contains tabs like Home, Insert, Design, etc., with different tools.
- Slides Pane: Shows all the slides in your presentation.
- Slide Area: The main area where you design your slide.
- Notes Pane: Add notes for each slide.
Creating a Presentation
- Click "New Slide" to add more slides.
- Type your text in the placeholders.
- Use "Insert" to add pictures, shapes, charts, or videos.
- Choose a design or theme from the "Design" tab.
Working with Slides
- Rearrange slides by dragging them in the Slides Pane.
- Delete a slide by right-clicking and selecting "Delete Slide".
- Duplicate a slide by right-clicking and selecting "Duplicate Slide".
Adding Animations and Transitions
- Use the "Animations" tab to add effects to text and objects.
- Use the "Transitions" tab to add effects between slides.
Presenting Your Slides
- Click "Slide Show" to start your presentation from the beginning.
- Use the arrow keys to move between slides.
- Press "Esc" to exit the slideshow.
