The Earth is our home. It is a planet in the solar system. The universe is everything around us—planets, stars, the sun, the moon, and much more!
What is the Earth?
- Earth is the third planet from the sun.
- It has land, water, and air.
- Earth is the only planet where people, animals, and plants live.
- Earth is called the "Blue Planet" because of its water.
What is the Universe?
- The universe is everything—planets, stars, sun, moon, and space.
- It is very big and has millions of stars and planets.
The Solar System
- The solar system has the sun and eight planets.
- The planets are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
- The sun is a big ball of fire and gives us light and heat.
- The moon goes around the Earth.
Stars and Other Objects
- Stars twinkle in the night sky.
- Some stars form patterns called constellations.
- Comets and asteroids also move in space.
