Introduction
Hardware is the physical part of a computer that you can touch and see. All the devices and parts that make up a computer are called hardware.
Main Parts of Computer Hardware
- Monitor: Shows pictures, text, and videos. It looks like a TV.
- CPU (Central Processing Unit): The brain of the computer. It controls all the work.
- Keyboard: Used to type letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Mouse: Helps you point, click, and select things on the screen.
- Printer: Prints text and pictures on paper.
- Speakers: Play sound and music from the computer.
- Scanner: Copies pictures or documents into the computer.
Other Hardware Devices
- Webcam: Takes pictures and videos.
- Microphone: Records your voice.
- Pen Drive: Stores and transfers data.
- External Hard Disk: Stores large amounts of data.
How Hardware Works Together
All hardware parts are connected to the CPU. The CPU sends and receives signals to make the computer work. For example, when you type on the keyboard, the CPU shows the letters on the monitor.
