Introduction
Verbs are action words. They tell us what someone or something is doing. Every sentence needs a verb!
What are Verbs?
Verbs show actions or what is happening. They can also tell us about being or having.

- is, am, are (being verbs)
- have, has (having verbs)
Examples of Verbs in Sentences
- The dog runs.
- She jumps high.
- I eat an apple.
- We are happy.
- He has a toy.
